Requirements

When you sign up to the program, you are committing to meet with your assigned peer, once a week for 45 minutes to one hour for a full semester. When filling up the application, you can note a gender preference. For the US based students you can also note if you have a preference to being matched with an Israeli student who is at a beginner or intermediate English language level. After a semester, the program officially ends but we hope that students will choose to stay in contact with each other and continue being part of the Teennect community.

Frequency - weekly zoom sessions.

Duration - between 45 minutes to 1 hour. We suggest you spend half of the session working on English skills. 

Commitment - participants should dedicate at least one semester to this initiative. 

Group interactions - meet every two week sessions to exchange experiences, brainstorm solutions, and share best practices. 

Support system - we will have a WhatsApp group where you can ask for advice, share stories, and reflect on what they are hearing from their students in Israel.
